Wyle Coyote

When I was growing up there was a coyote that chased this bird around he was always in the desert. Do you know who I am talking about? Wyle Coyote. I learned something from Wyle Coyote. All these times he was running around chasing that roadrunner and what was his main goal? To catch that roadrunner. And what did we want him to do? Catch the roadrunner. But no matter what he tried, weather it was his Acme rocket boots, rolling the boulder off a cliff, or setting a trap at a tunnel, it just never seemed to work. But you know I got so frustrated at watching the coyote lose that I wanted to get out there and try to catch the roadrunner. I wondered why the coyote did not give up. Don’t you know that you are never going to catch him? The writers are never going to let you catch him. But we can learn something from that. Why do we never want to give up? Because he didn’t know he was never going to catch him.  Right? He never knew he was never going to catch the roadrunner but he always kept his eye on the goal. In his eyes it didn’t matter if he fell off a cliff, was run over by a boulder, got hit by a bus coming through a tunnel, was glued to the street, or what ever the case may be he kept going. That is the way Satan is also. He keeps hitting us with buses, he keeps throwing us off a cliff…right? He wants us to lose site of our goal. But we cannot ever lose site of our goal because one day we are going to reach our goal and our goal is Heaven. Don’t ever give up. Some days we may feel like Wyle Coyote because we get beat up and been smacked around. You feel like no matter what kind of ACME part you buy, the second you order it, it doesn’t work. But our God is a God of timing and His ACME products always work. Amen? So don’t quit…don’t give up
